The 25 Things Meme
Crumbler started it. (Well, started it here (as far as I know)).
“There’s a fun meme going around Facebook right now. It’s called 25 Things and is basically an un-survey. The rules: Write 25 random things about yourself, tag 25 random friends, make them do the same thing.”I’m trying desperately to stay awake across my last hour of work for the day and am labouring under the possibly misguided apprehension that trying to think of 25 things about myself will help.
Ok, I’m gonna pretend there are actually 25 interesting things about me. Make one of your own if you want.
1. When I was 17, I had a state issued drivers license with my picture that said I was 27.
2. I have recurring dreams that I never finished getting my degree at BC even though I did.
3. I feel like I cheated my way through high school.
3a. I have recurring dreams that my high school shouldn’t have let me graduate and I go back there as an adult to retake classes with high school kids.
4. I’m more than a pack rat, I’m a hoarder. OCD?
5. I spew out little known facts like Cliff Claven from Cheers.
5a. I’ll spend 3-4 hours a day looking up these facts online.
6. When I see a famous person in public, I’ll scream out their name to get them to look at me.
7. I typically sleep anywhere from 10-18 hours a day.
8. I still wish I knew how to skateboard and I vow I will someday learn no matter how old I am.
9. I don’t know when to stop eating until I’m in physical pain from eating too much.
10. I have very liberal views, but hold sacred the 2nd Amendment like a crazy conservative.
11. If I can’t find my wallet, or favorite pen, or something really small and insignificant, I’ll skip the entire day of school or whatever obligations I have for that day.
12. I live way beyond my means.
13. I kiss other people’s dogs.
14. I’ve probably read less than 5% of the hundreds of books I own.
15. I’m the most immature person I know.
16. I mostly like bands with a female on lead vocals.
17. I’ll never admit to a girl that I like her unless she says so first.
18. In high school and college, I used to drive high/drunk.
19. I love milk, chocolate milk, ice cream and cheese even though I’m intolerant of lactose.
20. I like to listen to books on tape.
21. I’m glad I have a common name so it’s harder for people to find me online.
22. I’m in recovery for my addiction to schadenfreude.
23. I’m kinda hoping the Mayan calendar is right about 2012.
24. I’m a movie theatre snob. I hate going to new movies on weekends because of all the annoying people.
25. It took me all day to come up with this list.
